Over in England, the COVID-19 pandemic is causing just as much havoc as it is here in the US. In Nottingham, bars in tier three areas are only allowed to offer carry out or delivery. James Aspell, owner of the tequila bar 400 Rabbits thought this was unfair since places of worship were allowed to remain open. And he decided to do something to highlight that injustice

So he registered his establishment as a church calling it the Church of the 400 Rabbits. However, he does have to have registered congregates. He said he will be setting up a webpage to get people registered.

While he admits it is a tongue in cheek move, he does have real concern that the bar he opened 5 years ago may not be able to open again until next April.

You can follow what's happening with the bar (or church) on their Facebook page
