American Airlines Drops Flights Out Of Springfield

Springfield is among 15 cities where American Airlines is dropping flights from October 7 through November 3.

Currently, the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport has two daily flights to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport via American.

Mark Hanna, executive director of the Springfield Airport Authority, to the SJR that American has “every intention” of bringing the flights back- hopefully not extending past the November 3 date.
