After the Lincoln Library staff were exposed to COVID-19, the library at 326 S. Seventh Street in downtown Springfield is temporarily closed.

During the closure, the public may not pick up or place items on hold. The library is not charging over due fees for any material currently checked out. Those who have items may either hold on to them or use the book return on the building. Be advised that the book drops on Seventh Street are closed.

The library is scheduled to reopen November 12 for limited services.
