Death Toll From COVID-19 In Sangamon County Now Stands At 43

The Sangamon County Department of Public Health (SCDPH) is reporting another death in the COVID-19 pandemic. A male in his 40’s who tested positive for the virus on August 2 has died from the disease.

On Wednesday, the SCDPH reported 27 new confirmed, positive cases in the county. Sangamon County now has a total of 2,061 confirmed cased of COVID-19 with 19 hospitalization and 433 individuals in isolation.
