District 186 to Hold Emergency Board Meeting Thursday. Reconsiders Remote Learning

As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise in Sangamon County, Springfield Public School District 186 has announced an emergency board meeting for Thursday, August 13 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the possibility of starting the new school year entirely remotely.

The school board had previously decided on a hybrid/blended plan where in-person classes would start for students on August 31.
