Gunfire On South 12th Street Leaves One Injured

In a developing story, Springfield Police are investigating an incident on South 12th Street near Ash Street.

At approximately 3:30 Monday afternoon, multiple shots were fired, and one person was struck. Deputy Chief Joshua Stuenkel told the SJR that the victim's injuries were non-life-threatening.
