Police And Fire Respond To 2 Car Accident At Springfield’s Most Dangerous Intersection

With one vehicle flipped over- the accident looked worse than it was for the passengers. Only minor injuries were reported after Springfield Police and Fire crews responded to a 2 car accident just before 5:30 pm Monday evening at the intersection of Sangamon Avenue and North Dirksen Parkway.

The SJR is reporting via IDOT that from 2013 to 2018 there were 228 crashes with 88 injuries.
