Rep Rodney Davis Tests Positive For COVID-19

U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis announced on Wednesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He received a test after registering a fever of 99 degrees. Other than the higher than normal fever, the Republican from Taylorville said he had no other symptoms and he feels fine.

Davis' wife and staff members he had been in contact with this week have all tested negative.

All of Davis' public appearances have been cancelled until he tests negative. Instead, Davis told the SJR that he "will continue to serve my constituents virtually from home while I quarantine.”
