Sangamon County Has Record Day For New COVID Cases

Well, it is certainly not a record Sangamon county wanted to beat, but with 51 new cases reported today, that is precisely what happened. The age range of the cases were fairly spread out. 16 of the newly reported cases were people over 60; 31 cases were reported for people between 20 and 59; four cases were people in their teens.

Today’s new case tally brings the state total to 1,321.
