Severe Weather Causes Minor Damage in Central IL.

Things got a little bit dicey weather-wise Wednesday evening in Central IL – including high winds, heavy rain, and even tornadoes.

The Hillsboro Fire Department reported high winds and rain in Butler when storms went through around 5 p.m., downing at least one tree and damaging power lines.

News Channel 20 reported damage to some corn fields due to flooding and wind.

There were also unconfirmed reports of tornadoes in Divernon and Loami.
