As parents struggle to figure out daycare for their kids now that multiple school districts, including 186, are doing remote learning for the start of the school year, the Springfield Park District may have a solution.

The park district is offering back to school camps for $130 a full week. There are also full-day and half-day options as well. Prices will reflect the number of days selected for a camper.

According to the Springfield Park District Director of Recreation and Marketing Lynn Saputo, the camp will provide a safe place for students to do online learning. They will be kept in the same groups of ten or less with none of the typical congestion one would see in a traditional school setting.
