Taylorville Cheerleading Gym Closed Due To COVID-19

It was an ominous Facebook post, Tumble N’ Fly Tumble and Cheer Academy in Taylorville told parents to check their emails in regards to a statement on COVID-19.

An instructor with the gym, located at 1020 Nectar Ln., Taylorville has tested positive for the coronavirus, and the facility is closed as of July 18.

It is anticipated that the gym will open for private lessons only on August 1, after deep cleaning and health department approval.

Anyone who has visited the gym anytime between July 4 and 17, and has not already been in contact with the Tumble N’ Fly or the health department, should call the Christian County Health Department at 217-824-4113 for more information.
